I mean come on, FO3 had 2 companions designed to be evil (Jerico and Clover).what the hell New Vegas? Did you just assume no one would ever go the evil route? Alternatively, should I take the modders route and download and evil compainon from the New Vegas Nexus? If you have completed the Legion ending, who did you have tagging along in your ranks? I have a feeling that possibly Raul or Lilly might be okay, but I just want to make sure so I'm not having to deal with all the compainion complaints on "Those Legion guys are really really bad!" and what not. But then again maybe I've misjudged some of them. What fun!īut what I seem to have gathered from my previous playthrough (NCR ending) is that NONE of the compainions you can get to follow you (minus Rex and ED-E) are really ever in favor of the Legion! They will either leave you or keep nagging you for not doing the right thing! Its almost pointless to even have a humanoid compainon. Kill everything between you and the bunker and complete the quest as normal. Instead of speaking to Cursor Lucullus, whom you'll have killed, just target and activate the raft to get to the fort. The second option is to simply kill everything in sight.
Complete the mission as before and return the way you came. The guards inside will recognize you, but they can be killed without alerting the rest of the camp as long as you remain disguised. Speak to no one but the dock officer and avoid all legion dogs or else you'll be caught. Make your way through Cottonwood Cove to the Fort as normal. Don't take your companions as the guards will notice and a shootout will ensue. The first option is to disguise yourself as one of the Legion. If you've once again become vilified with the Legion, or simply don't like the Legion, you can still complete this quest.
